TIBETAN YOGA OF MOVEMENT: Perfect Rythm of life
Yantra Yoga or Tibetan Yoga of Movement is one of the oldest recorded systems of Yoga that exists in the world. It is a system of Yoga that has come to us through Tibet, a land full of a vast and rich traditional Buddhist knowledge and wisdom.
Yantra Yoga is accessible to people of all ages, capacities and body types. People of all different levels of flexibility and strength can participate. It is a complete knowledge that can be applied by anyone, Buddhist or not, for total well being of body and mind. It is an ancient tradition perfect for today’s life.
In Yantra Yoga there are three preliminary series, seventy-five Yantras similar to asanas in Hatha Yoga and the Vajra Wave, the movement done to complete a Yantra Yoga session.
This video is presented in two parts. The first part, including slow motion, is for learning the movements. Some adaptations for the more difficult movements are included. The second part is a guided practice session.
